February 2010 Progressive/Electro House Mix

Sorry for missing January's mix. I decided to wait until the last minute to create my mix and then I came down with the sickness. I was in no condition to have 100db pumping through my ears for an hour, so I decided to skip it. I made this month's almost 80 minutes instead of the usual hour to help make up for that. :)
I've decided that I want to start incorporating some familiar songs, as well as some club elements, to try and gain a wider audience. As they say, you can't please them all, so I hope you will continue to enjoy my mixes.

November 2009 Electro House Mix

Sorry for the release delay, I've run into some physical issues that have since been fixed and I'm all good to go now! That aside, I really love the sound of this mix. I'm not sure I would consider the front half to be called "Electro House", probably more just straight "house". Personally, I hate all the sub-genre breakouts. It's all house music in my eyes, baby! House music all night long! Say what!

Not sure how to describe this one...lol. It seems like I'm all over the place here, but in my opinion - I guess it works. There's a little bit of a flashback theme going on with some originals and remakes. "Funk Phenomena" following "aNYway" creates some Armand/Armand play. (I just found out "Funk Phenomena 2010" released a few days ago, so maybe there was a little crystal ball action over here.) I played "Infinity 2008" at a recent club night and remembered how much I like that song, so I threw it in here. One of my favorite songs, "Two Months Off" also makes an appearance, as I heard the Tong/Wonderland remix recently. Plus the percussion on that track is great. One more comment - check out the new Bad Boy Bill remix of his "Do What U Like". Fire!! Have a great month everyone, and thanks for listening!

This month brings lots of energy and some serious bass near the end, so be prepared! There's a track off Bad Boy Bill's new album, a bangin' new track by Duck Sauce, and I went a little "out of the box" with a Crissy Criss remix of a Chicago classic. Wrapped around the ends are a pair of Deadmau5 mash ups - the last track I mashed live during recording (thanks to Serato's new SP-6 sample players).
